This Jalandhar College celebrates academic glory as 11 students receive Gold Medals

Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), Jalandhar, added another glorious chapter to its legacy of academic excellence as eleven of its students received Gold Medals at the 51st Convocation of Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU). The prestigious medals were conferred by the Hon’ble Governor of Punjab and Chancellor of Guru Nanak Dev University, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, recognising the exceptional academic achievements of the students across diverse disciplines.

The remarkable accomplishment reflects the institution’s unwavering commitment to nurturing talent, encouraging academic excellence, and providing students with a learning environment that blends theoretical knowledge with practical exposure.

Expressing immense pride in the achievement, Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra congratulated the medal recipients and described the honour as a matter of immense pride for the entire Apeejay family. The Gold Medal recipients included Ankit Goyal (M.Design), Hitin Khurana (Master of Arts in Dance), Kanishka Kharbanda (B.Design), Ridhima Nagpal (M.A. Dance), Nandini (M.A. Fine Arts), Nandini Handa and Tarannum (Master of Fine Arts – Applied Art), Sahil Kumar (Master of Arts in Fine Arts), Kashish Mahna and Jasleen Kaur (Bachelor of Physiotherapy), and Sandeep Singh (B.A. Psychology).

Sharing another point of pride for the institution, Dr. Dhingra noted that Ankit Goyal and Hitin Khurana, besides being Gold Medal recipients, are also serving as faculty members at the college.
