On Teachers’ Day, Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, reverberated with the energy of gaiety as the students got together to celebrate and honour their mentors. The event saw a series of enthralling performances and ceremonies expressing appreciation for the relentless labour put in by the teachers.
The day began with the ceremonial ribbon-cutting, which marked the symbolic beginning to the events of the day to follow, promising much interaction. Ms Deepti Kaushal, the school coordinator, graced the occasion, among the other prestigious members of the faculty, lending a note of celebration right from the very outset.
On this auspicious occasion, a special message was read out from Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education.
Dear Teachers,

I wish you all a very Happy Teachers’ Day!
For us, this day is really very special, as the role of teachers in an education institution is paramount. Also, it is an occasion to acknowledge the contribution of teachers in shaping up the youth and the nation, throughout the year.
I would like to commend you all on your excellent work. I am sure that the new challenges that beckon us would be met by you with the same resilience, dedication and determination which you have always demonstrated.
Value-based education including human values continues to be the cornerstone of all Apeejay Education Institutions. The overarching goal is to bring about harmony in the physical, socio-emotional, intellectual and spiritual development of the students. Our campuses not only inculcate a love for learning but encourage an entire way of life rooted in values and wellness, while also keeping abreast with emerging technologies and 21st-century learning. In tune with NEP, our endeavour is to make education more experiential, stress-free and joyful.
Our motto ‘Soaring High is My Nature’ exemplifies the fact that we should never rest on our laurels, as the pursuit of excellence is a never-ending quest, and there are always new skies to conquer.
I am sure that as educators, we are conscious and mindful of the new realities in relevant emerging domains, so that our institutions scale many more peaks of success in the years to come.
Once again, Happy Teachers’ Day!
The highlight of the event was the ‘badge of honour’ ceremony. The students presented badges to their teachers as a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication. The ceremony reflected not only the respect and admiration the students harboured for their mentors but also bolstered the teachers’ spirits by acknowledging their contribution.

Cultural Renditions and Fun
It was interspersed with performances which gave the function a cultural splurge. These performances were not only entertaining but also an expression of the artistic talents of students. The ‘balloon fun extravaganza’ added a playful twist to the merriment, filling the atmosphere with laughter and vibrant colours.
No celebration is complete without a cake. So, the cake-cutting ceremony was yet another luscious tribute to the collective spirit of the teaching fraternity at Apeejay School. This was followed by a ‘gratitude and memories’ presentation. The students shared reminiscences of their memorable experiences and extended their gratitude through speeches and multi-media presentations.
Reflections of the Coordinator

Ms Kaushal congratulated the students for such a wonderful arrangement. The day was not only a celebration but an enlightened reminder of the strong rapport between the student-teacher bonds at Apeejay School. Recognition and respect are brought to the forefront in shaping the supportiveness of an educational environment.

Overall, the Teachers’ Day at Apeejay School, Tanda Road left behind memories to be cherished by the teachers and students for years to come. It was a day full of joy, respect, and festive spirit, well-laced with all the ingredients that underline the essence of gratitude that the day stands for.
