Her daughter’s journey with Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, has been an interesting one. The family admitted their daughter, Tisha, now in Class XII (non-medical), in Class I, and she studied here till Class V. And then COVID-19 hit, and the family had to withdraw her from the school. But the parent brought her back to the Apeejay School fold in Class XI.
In a candid interview, the parent shares how her daughter’s journey here has been very good, and as a parent, she feels happy that she is again a part of this school.
Why did you choose Apeejay School again?
We chose Apeejay again because we had liked the school from the beginning. We had to shift her earlier due to the lockdown, but honestly, we never wanted to move her from Apeejay School. The experience at the other school was not as good, so we felt that bringing her back here would be better for her growth and studies.
How has her journey been in the last two years at the school?
Her journey in the last two years has been very good. The class teachers guide her very well and give proper attention to her studies. I feel the teachers support the students like tutors and make sure they understand what is being taught.
What activities does Tisha enjoy?
She is interested in singing. She enjoys it, and she has also participated in school activities. As parents, we sometimes tell her to focus more on her studies because Class XII is important, but we are happy that the school gives children opportunities to take part in activities too.
Since she is now in Class XII, how are you guiding her as a parent?
As a parent, I keep telling her to focus on her studies. I tell her that studies are very important and that she can progress in life through education. Since Class XII is an important year, we try to guide her from our side and keep reminding her to stay sincere.
How would you describe Tisha’s overall growth here?
Her growth has been very good. I would say it has been 100% positive. Academically and personally, she has improved, and I feel satisfied with the way the school is helping her. As a parent, I feel the school gives children a good environment to study, learn, and grow.
Do you feel a difference in the guidance given by teachers in Class XII?
Yes, I can feel the difference. The teachers are giving very good guidance, especially because this is an important year for the children. They support the students properly and help them stay focused on their studies.
How would you describe the parent-teacher communication at Apeejay?
The parent-teacher communication is good. The teachers give feedback and guide us whenever needed. As a parent, I feel comfortable because the school and teachers stay connected with us regarding the child’s progress.
