Advitiya Vaibhav Rai, a bright 12th class student from Apeejay School, Noida, made remarkable strides in his academic journey in class 11th. Scoring the third highest aggregate in the Humanities stream with 88.8% and the highest in Political Science with an impressive 98, Advitiya’s achievements are a testament to his hard work and dedication. Apeejay Newsroom had the opportunity to speak with Advitiya about his experiences and aspirations.
Advitiya, how has your experience been at Apeejay School, Noida?
I’ve been studying at Apeejay School since nursery, and it’s been an incredible journey. The learning environment here has always been very friendly and supportive. The teachers are knowledgeable and cooperative, which has greatly contributed to my academic success.
Can you share some insights into your study methods that helped you achieve such high marks?
I primarily used NCERT books and the questions provided by my teachers in class. I focused heavily on these resources, which really helped me understand the subjects deeply. For Political Science, which I scored highest in, I relied on class materials and self-study to achieve that top score.
You mentioned that Economics was a challenging subject. How did you overcome this difficulty?
Yes, Economics, particularly the statistics part, was quite challenging for me. However, I practiced extensively and sought help whenever needed. Consistent practice and perseverance helped me overcome the difficulties I faced with the subject.
What role has Moodle played in your academic preparation?
Moodle has been an invaluable resource. The teachers upload a lot of supplementary materials on the platform, which has been extremely helpful. It provides additional resources and materials that aid in a deeper understanding of the subjects.

How do you balance your academic responsibilities with extracurricular activities?
I believe in maintaining a balance between studies and activities. I make sure to spend at least an hour each day playing cricket or cycling. I start my day early, around 7 am, for focused study time, and I believe this balance keeps me motivated and refreshed.
What are your future aspirations and current preparations?
I am preparing for the CLAT exam with the goal of pursuing a career in Law. I’ve always been interested in this field, and I’m dedicated to putting in the effort required to excel in the exam and achieve my career goals.
Can you share a memorable moment from your academic journey at Apeejay?
One of my proudest moments was when I had the opportunity to explain a particular topic in front of the whole class. The trust my teachers had in me and the chance to share my knowledge with my peers was a very fulfilling experience.
What advice would you give to fellow students who are aiming for academic excellence?
My advice is to keep working hard and not just focus on studies. It’s important to maintain a balance between academics and other interests. Consistent effort, combined with a well-rounded approach, is key to achieving success.
