‘The faculty is extremely helpful in terms of preparation for placement’
An Apeejay School of Management student explains how mentors guided them throughout the placement process
Daksh Agarwal, a PGDM student at Apeejay School of Management, has built a strong professional foundation by combining classroom learning with hands-on industry experience. Through internships at Bharat Electronics Limited, Global Engineering Private Limited, and Chrome DM, he has continuously enhanced his skills and practical knowledge. In this interview, Daksh shares how faculty mentorship, industry exposure, and a focus on continuous learning helped shape his placement journey and prepared him for a successful management career. How did you prepare for placement? Share tips
My preparation for placement was with the ultimate objective of maximising my learning at my internship in my domain. With this in mind I completed various certifications in certain skills that are required for that job. This gave me an advantage over others when I applied for an internship either from college provided opportunities or on my own.
How did ASM help you prepare for the placement journey ?
The faculty is extremely helpful in terms of preparation for placement weather that be with communication and resume building, general ethics and grooming, providing opportunities to students who require some specific type of internship opportunities and finally guiding students to decide what is best for them
What are your future aspirations as an MBA graduate ?
My future aspiration is to work with such an organisation where I will be valuable in contributing to my skills and contributing for an organisation’s success.
