Choosing the right school is a crucial decision for any parent, and for Mrs. Poonam Singh, Apeejay International School, Greater Noida, has been the perfect choice for her children, Ranbirr Singh (Class 10) and Riddhima Singh (Class 12). When their family moved from Delhi to Greater Noida, they explored multiple schools and appeared for interviews. Mrs Singh also mentions,”We explored multiple schools, appeared for interviews, and were fortunate to receive a call back from Apeejay School. It had everything we were looking for – quality education, excellent faculty, and a well-rounded learning environment. That’s why we chose it.” In a candid conversation, Mrs. Singh shares her experience with the school, the academic journey of her children, and the overall environment at Apeejay.
How has the schooling journey been for your children at Apeejay International School, Greater Noida?

It has been very good. Both my children, Ranbirr and Riddhima, have adapted well to the school environment. Initially, there were some challenges since they had come from a different school, but the welcoming atmosphere and supportive teachers helped them settle in comfortably.
How has your experience been with the school’s academic environment?
It has been excellent. The teachers are extremely dedicated and supportive. They not only teach but also motivate students to excel. The academic standards at Apeejay are very high, and I have seen great progress in both my children’s learning journey.
What subjects does Ranbirr enjoy the most?
He loves Mathematics and Science. He has always had a keen interest in these subjects and enjoys learning new concepts.
Has Ranbirr participated in extracurricular activities?
Yes, he used to participate in dance performances during the annual functions and also took part in Olympiads. However, this year, we decided to focus more on academics, so he didn’t participate in the Olympiad.

What about Riddhima’s academic interests and activities?
She has taken PCM along with Painting and English. Her studies are going very well. Due to her tight schedule, she is currently unable to engage in extracurricular activities, but earlier, she was actively involved in dance and other events.
What is your perspective on career choices for children?
I believe that children often don’t have a fixed career path in school. Their interests keep evolving, and real clarity comes after experiencing a few competitive exams post-school. That’s why we encourage our children to focus on their studies without stressing too much about career decisions right now.
How do you feel about your children’s academic performance?
Both of them are performing exceptionally well. Riddhima scored approximately 85% in her Class 10 board exams, which made us very proud. We always encourage them to do their best, and we are happy with their progress.
