Mother of Ahir Roy, a three-year-old student at Rhythms Kinderworld School, Greater Kailash–II, Ruchira Sengupta is a South Delhi-based entrepreneur. She and her husband, Devajit Roy, India Head for New Business at LinkedIn enrolled their son in the pre-school a couple of months back.

Their requirement was straightforward: to discover the most welcoming and encouraging setting for Ahir. Therefore in April this year, the couple firmed up their decision to enroll him.

Edited excerpts from the interview.

Rhythms is a premier play school located in Greater Kailash-II. It is also the latest addition to the network of Apeejay Stya institutes spanning across India. A lot of my friends have enrolled their kids in this school. So, we got to know from them about it.

While selecting the right preschool for Ahir, we wanted to check the pre-school out. However, we visited several others in the vicinity but eventually zeroed down to Rhythms. It was felt fitting because the school is quite close to our home.

We were quite satisfied. The infrastructure and facilities provided to the kids there is perfect.

Yes. The teachers have worked hard to make him learn. And so, he has had a positive impact. This year, he attended the summer camp hosted by the school too. I feel his social behaviour has improved.

In addition to this, he has started speaking in English and has learnt to recite nursery rhymes and poems. Now, he knows how to be interactive and friendly; earlier he often felt anxious in a new environment. He likes to learn new things and paint too.

His class teacher – Yukti Ma’am. He completely adores her. She is really sweet and we like her as a teacher as well.

From the infrastructure to the environment as well as the teachers and learning methodologies, everything is taken care of. So, I would recommend it. The pre-school has definitely helped my son develop and improve.
