Teachers’ Day 2025: Celebrating wisdom, respect, and joy
Students of Apeejay School, Nerul, honour the guiding lights and pay tribute with dance, music, and gratitude
On September 5, 2025, Apeejay School, Nerul, marked Teacher’s Day with warmth, enthusiasm, and deep respect for its teaching community. The day began by honouring the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose vision of education continues to inspire generations. His legacy set the tone for a celebration dedicated to recognising the role of teachers as nation-builders and lifelong guides.
The programme commenced with a soulful prayer, invoking blessings for knowledge and wisdom. Students then extended a floral welcome to the Principal, Vice-Principal, and faculty members. The sight of smiling faces, bouquets, and warm greetings created an atmosphere of joy and reverence that carried through the day.
Student tributes
The Head Boy delivered a stirring address on behalf of the student body. He thanked teachers for their patience, dedication, and guidance, noting how their support shapes young lives. Class XI students followed with a vibrant dance performance set to cheerful tunes, which filled the audience with energy and delight.
Adding to the festive spirit, Classes XI and XII presented another coordinated dance sequence, showcasing creativity and teamwork. The school band then mesmerised the gathering with melodious songs that expressed love and gratitude for the teaching fraternity. The performances brought alive the bond of respect and admiration that students share with their mentors.
Words of inspiration
In the address, the Principal reminded students that respect, discipline, and lifelong learning form the true foundation of education. The Head Girl later delivered the Vote of Thanks, expressing appreciation for the tireless efforts of teachers and acknowledging the teamwork that made the event a success.
