Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC) in Jalandhar recently showcased the creative prowess of its students in the realm of website design during the “Pixel Perfection: The 4 Days Web Design Challenge” event.

The objective of this event was to evaluate the website development skills of students from various streams, providing them with a platform to exhibit their technical prowess and creativity. Participants were required to develop a website on a topic disclosed in advance and had four days to craft their digital creations.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from students of different programmes, including B.Tech (CSE), BCA, and MCA, who approached the challenge with unparalleled zeal. During the competition, the excitement and enthusiasm of the students were palpable, and they left no stone unturned to showcase their web design skills.

In the end, the jury was tasked with the difficult decision of choosing the winners. In this challenge, Tanvi Parmar and Harsh Mankotia from B.Tech (CSE) Semester- 7 emerged as the champions, securing the first position with their exceptional web design. Bhawana and Abhishek Chauhan from MCA Semester 3 displayed remarkable talent and secured the second position.

The event’s success was largely attributed to the meticulous planning and execution by the faculty coordinators, Mr. Rohit Verma, Convenor of the Information Technology Club, and Mr. Rajiv Kumar, Assistant Professor at the School of Information Technology. They provided guidance and support to ensure a smooth and competitive event.

The student coordinators, Simerjeet Singh from MCA Semester- 3 and Anurag Shardha from B.Tech Semester- 7, played a pivotal role in assisting the faculty members in conducting the event efficiently. Their dedication and hard work contributed significantly to the event’s success.

Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of AIMETC, congratulated the winners and appreciated all the participants for their enthusiasm and talent. He emphasised, “It is important to engage in extracurricular activities as these enhance holistic development of students and prepare them for the dynamic job world.”

In conclusion, the event was a resounding success, highlighting not only the technical abilities of our students but also emphasising the Institute’s firm dedication to nurturing creativity and innovation in the field of information technology.
