Students today are growing up at a time when technology is changing how people learn, work, solve problems, and build careers. To help them understand this shift more clearly, Apeejay School, Sector 15, Faridabad, organised a Career Talk on Robotics and Emerging Technologies for students of Classes IX to XII.
The session was conducted by Mr Sharad Mehta, General Manager and an expert in the field of robotics and innovation. He spoke to the students about the rapidly evolving world of robotics, Artificial Intelligence, automation, and emerging technological trends that are shaping future career choices.
The talk helped students look at technology not merely as a subject but as a field that demands curiosity, problem-solving, creativity, and innovation. Mr Mehta explained the wide range of opportunities available in these areas and encouraged students to prepare themselves for a world where new ideas and practical skills will matter deeply.
For students of senior classes, such exposure becomes important because career decisions often begin to take shape during these years. A session like this allows them to see how classroom learning can connect with real-life applications. It also helps them understand that future careers may not always follow conventional routes.

The interactive nature of the session added to its value. Students showed curiosity and enthusiasm as they engaged with ideas linked to new-age careers. Their participation reflected a growing interest in fields that combine science, technology, imagination, and hands-on thinking.
What this really means is that career awareness is no longer limited to choosing a familiar profession. Students now need to understand how industries are changing and what skills will help them stay ready. Robotics and Artificial Intelligence are among those areas where young learners can begin exploring early.
The session broadened the students’ perspective and encouraged them to think beyond fixed boundaries. It also gave them a clearer sense of how innovation can shape meaningful career paths in the years ahead.
