In a brief chat with Ms. Pooja Aggarwal, Dhairya’s mother, we uncover the aspirations and achievements of this talented Class 10 student at Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, Jalandhar. From excelling in science and math to his love for lawn tennis and chess, Dhairya has big plans for the future.
How is Dhairya progressing academically?
Dhairya is doing very well. His progress is consistent, and we’re proud of how dedicated he is to his studies.
Which subjects does he enjoy the most?
Science and Math. He enjoys both subjects and is keen on exploring them in greater depth.
Will he pursue the medical or non-medical stream next year?
Yes, Dhairya is quite determined to become a doctor, so he will opt for the medical stream in Class 11.
How would you describe the learning environment in his class?
It’s a very positive and healthy environment. The relationship between students and teachers is inspiring. Students are encouraged to freely discuss their challenges, and the teachers offer effective guidance. Even during PTMs, the teachers are approachable and provide solutions, even outside of regular hours, to help the children grow.

What are Dhairya’s favorite extracurricular activities?
Dhairya loves playing lawn tennis and chess. He has played lawn tennis at the district level and chess at national-level tournaments. He’s currently receiving coaching at school. Besides sports, he also enjoys debates and poetry recitation competitions. He’s particularly excited about participating in the upcoming MUN event.
How do you feel about the Principal’s vision for education?
Sangeeta Ma’am believes in a balanced education. She focuses on academics while ensuring that students also engage in cultural and sports activities, and she promotes discipline along with academic excellence.
Are you satisfied with Dhairya’s progress and the school’s support?
Yes, I’m fully satisfied. The school has provided great support, and Dhairya’s growth speaks volumes about the school’s nurturing environment.
