Atulya Sanju of 11 A from Apeejay School, Kharghar, has secured second position in the painting competition. The inter-school competition was recently organised by CBSE under the “Pariksha Pe Charcha” program for classes 9 to 12.

At the same time, Hansika Podar of 9 B, Kirtana Minoy of 11 A, Abhinav Nair of 11 B, and Sachi Bhattarai of 11 D also participated in the competition.

The students were given 25 different topics based on the mantras of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to reduce the examination stress. Overall, 100 students across 17 CBSE schools from Raigarh district participated in the event.

On winning the certificate and books as a reward, Atulya said, “The topic I chose for the event was ‘Discover yourself: Experience all that life offers’. The reason for choosing this topic was that I believed that as ordinary people we are busy dealing with the fast pace of our lives that we frequently forget about the little things that matter the most to us.”

She further added, “Self-discovery is not only a matter of self-fulfillment, but it is a way of life. A life which we have forgotten how to lead. Making posters about it, in my opinion, helps to raise awareness and thus sheds a light on this issue. This competition helped me express my feelings in the form of colours for which I am deeply grateful.”
