Student Achiever: ‘Consistency and dedication are your holy grail to ace the exam’

The young scholar from Apeejay School, Noida shares he tapped into his think tank to achieve brilliant marks with the help of his teachers

There are two ways people perceive to accomplish success – a go-getter or a procrastinator. The latter doesn’t exist in this 17-year-old’s dictionary. Meet Arnav Vyas who is studying in class XI at Apeejay School, Noida. In a candid interview, Arnav shares his mantra on how to outshine during exams.

What was your Board preparation like?

I scored 98.2% in the class X Board exams. My preparation started right from the beginning of the academic year. It included reviewing past papers, focusing on weak areas and consistently practising. I made sure to balance my studies with breaks to avoid stress and burnout.

Which stream have you taken ahead and what are your plans?

I have opted for PCM with Economics in class XI. I wouldn’t say I have it all planned, but I have a great interest in understanding the scientific aspects of nature, matter and technology.

How did the teachers at Apeejay support you?

All the teachers at Apeejay were supportive and knowledgeable. They created a positive learning environment, always encouraging us to ask questions and think creatively. Their notes were really helpful, making it easier for me to grasp difficult concepts.

Which extracurricular activities do you enjoy at school?

I play football and I’m a part of the school football team. I have participated in various sports-related Inter-school tournaments. I have also participated in various cultural events organised by the school.

How has your journey been at school so far?

I have been in Apeejay since nursery. My journey has been quite fulfilling. I have had the opportunity to learn and grow academically. I have been involved in various extracurricular activities, which have helped me develop new skills and interests.

Any message for students appearing for X boards in future?

I would only like to say that there is no need to take stress. You just need to be consistent and dedicated.
