As part of the vibrant 80th Independence Day celebrations, Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, organised a solo singing competition. It was held for the primary wing of the school on the second day of the festivities. The event aimed to instill patriotism, enhance musical talent, and provide young learners a platform to showcase their confidence and creativity through patriotic songs.
Students from Classes 3 and 4 participated with great enthusiasm, filling the school campus with melodious voices and patriotic fervour. Dressed in colourful attire, young participants rendered inspiring songs that paid tribute to the sacrifices of freedom fighters. Students on the day also celebrated the unity, diversity, and glory of India. Their heartfelt performances created an atmosphere of pride and joy, leaving the audience spellbound throughout the competition.



Judges Mrs Poonam Sharma and Mrs Seema Hada evaluated the participants on multiple parameters, including melody, rhythm, voice quality, pronunciation, expression, stage confidence, and overall presentation. Every participant displayed remarkable enthusiasm and dedication, making the competition both challenging and memorable for judges and the audience alike.
After careful deliberation, Priyal of Class 4 secured the first position with an exceptional performance that won the admiration of both the judges and the audience. Manya of Class 4 claimed the second position for her melodious rendition and confident stage presence. The third position was jointly awarded to Saara of Class 4 and Reyansh of Class 3, whose impressive performances reflected their musical talent and patriotic spirit.
The event concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony. Principal Dr. Vineet Vasishtha felicitated the winners and congratulated all participants for their efforts and outstanding performances. In his address, he appreciated the young singers for expressing their love for the nation through music and encouraged them to continue nurturing their talents. He also emphasised that music has the power to unite hearts, inspire positive values, and strengthen the spirit of patriotism among children.






The competition proved to be a blend of talent, confidence, and national pride. Students celebrated not only their musical abilities but also the importance of cultural activities in holistic development.
