School students organise special programme to pay respect to their principal

They presented self-made cards to the principal and also gave stunning performances

Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, Jalandhar, celebrated Principal’s Day recently with great enthusiasm. Students took the opportunity to express their gratitude and respect towards their principal for his relentless efforts towards maintaining a healthy and sustainable learning environment at school.

Students at the school presented a beautiful card and a bouquet to AK Sharma, the school’s principal. They also organised a wonderful programme dedicated to him.

Yadunandan Vatts of class VI recited a self-composed poem about the principal. This was followed by a video and PowerPoint presentation on the role of a leader, capturing the incredible journey of the principal and his many contributions.

Students also put up a beautiful dance performance, leaving the audience mesmerised.

Overwhelmed with the love and affection of students, the principal went on to address the school with a heartfelt speech. He shared memorable anecdotes from the lives of former Indian Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri and former US President Abraham Lincoln. He also talked about Apeejay Education’s Founder-Chairman Dr Stya Paul, a great leader and visionary, and advised students to follow his footsteps. He urged students to believe in themselves and work very hard to achieve their goals.

On the same occasion, Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, students made special arrangements for their principal Rudrendra Basak. Little Apeejayites from pre-primary and primary classes made beautiful ‘Thank You’ cards and gifted it to the principal at his office.

The principal happily interacted with the students and clicked pictures. He thanked them all for believing in him and supporting him through thick and thin during his journey of perfection and excellence.

School Principal’s Day is celebrated on May 1 in many countries to recognise the work that principals put in for the betterment of their institute. It is a reminder for everyone to say thank you to educational leaders for guiding young people. A principal is an integral part of a school, which cannot operate without them. It is their vision, dedication and determination that guarantees the success of an educational institute.
