School students in Jalandhar participate in a bicycle rally to promote fitness and health

Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, Jalandhar, organised a bicycle rally for its students to mark the 103rd birth anniversary of Apeejay Education Society’s founder chairman Dr Stya Paul. A fitting tribute, the rally was flagged off by Girish Kumar, principal, Apeejay Mahavir marg.

A group of 40 boys and girls got on to their bikes and rode to Apeejay School, Tanda Road, which was also the ancestral home of Dr Stya Paul. The students were warmly welcomed at Apeejay School, Tanda Road.

While commemorating late Dr Paul, the bicycle rally was also meant to promote awareness about the environment as well as a healthy and fit lifestyle.

Meanwhile, the school also organised a special programme, which saw students and faculty extend their heartfelt tribute to the late founder.

Dr Stya Paul was a true visionary, who dedicated his life to establishing quality educational institutions for building well-rounded personalities with true human values. Apeejay institutions are carrying forward his mission of inculcating a fine synthesis of scientific and career-building knowledge and genuine regard for Indian art, culture, and heritage.

Throughout his career, Dr Paul was also involved in social, cultural, and professional bodies and held various leadership positions. His values and zeal for relentless hard work continue to inspire and guide the Apeejay family.
