Rhythmic yoga to cultural performances: How Apeejay schools celebrated Mother’s Day 2023

Mothers participated in a variety of activities with their children to celebrate the day

On the occasion of Mother’s Day, Apeejay Rhythms, Model Town, Jalandhar, celebrated this special day at the school premises. Mother’s Day is celebrated every year on the second Sunday of May as a day to honour and appreciate mothers and mother figures.

At Apeejay, students and their mothers were invited to attend the event. Kids dedicated mesmerising dance and choir performances to their mothers, which left them overwhelmed. Meanwhile, various activities were planned for the mothers and kids, including dance, off-fire cooking, and displaying the first belongings of their child.

Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairperson, Apeejay Education Society, has always encouraged the active participation of mothers in school events to provide them with a platform to showcase their talent and creativity. Mr DK Bedi, Education officer, Apeejay Education, Mr Malkiat Singh, Principal, Apeejay Model Town, Pre-primary Headmistress Mrs Nidhi Ghai, Primary Headmistress Mrs Namrata Sharma, and other teachers were also present at the event.

Mother’s Day at Apeejay School, Faridabad

Apeejay School, Faridabad Sector-15, also celebrated the essence of motherhood with a special event called ‘Marvellous Moms.’ The programme commenced by invoking the blessings of Almighty in the form of an invocation dance. Mrs Anita Yadav, Principal, Apeejay Faridabad, extended a green welcome to the guests and alumni of the school.

A session was conducted on “Health is True Wealth” by Dr Sabita Kumari, Senior Consultant, Accord Super Speciality Hospital, Faridabad. The proud mothers enthusiastically participated in the events of the day, including Style Icon, Dancing Divas and Express to Impress. Song trail-Antakshari won the hearts of all.

The little ones proudly accompanied the talented mothers on stage. Students presented rhythmic yoga which was appreciated by all.

Mrs Ritu Kanwar, the Headmistress, proposed a formal vote of thanks at the end of the event. The programme was very engaging and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. 

At Apeejay School, Noida, the students of Class VIII D at Apeejay School, Noida, gathered in the school auditorium to pay homage to motherhood. The assembly was a mesmerising fusion of emotions, music, and elegance, leaving the audience enchanted.

The students initiated the assembly with a heartfelt song and dance performance, capturing the essence of maternal love and care. The melody reverberated throughout the hall, and their voices resonated deeply with every individual in the audience. Additionally, a questionnaire session centered around mothers was conducted.

Furthermore, the assembly featured a segment presenting the latest news, bringing global events to the forefront. The students’ informative presentation ensured that the audience remained updated with current affairs.

Undoubtedly, the highlight of the assembly was the speech delivered by the esteemed principal, whose inspiring words struck a chord with each member of the audience.
