The alumni meet “El Festijo” held at Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC) in Rama Mandi, Jalandhar, transcended the realm of a mere gathering, transforming into a jubilant celebration of heritage, knowledge, and camaraderie. Drawing alumni from batches spanning from 1997 onwards, the event epitomised the enduring bond within the Apeejay alumni community.

The evening unfolded with a myriad of enchanting experiences, combining thrilling competitions, electrifying dance performances, live music, nostalgic reminiscences, and sumptuous cuisine, all infused with the unmistakable spirit of Apeejay. The traditional lamp-lighting ceremony marked the auspicious commencement, symbolising the enlightenment of minds and the pursuit of wisdom.

Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of AIMETC, extended his heartfelt gratitude to all attendees, recognising their pivotal role in making “El Festijo” a resounding success. He applauded the unwavering dedication of the alumni in upholding the institution’s values and traditions while highlighting the significance of such gatherings in fostering a strong sense of belonging and camaraderie.

The event featured a captivating fashion show, showcasing the fusion of ethnic and western ensembles worn by the current students, reflecting the evolution of cultural sensibilities over time. Lively folk-dance performances added to the cultural tapestry, celebrating India’s diverse heritage with vibrant rhythms and colorful costumes.

Amidst the festivities, interactive games and activities facilitated interactions among alumni and students, fostering bonds of friendship and laughter. RJ Karan, the event’s host, added to the jovial atmosphere, while prizes and gift hampers heightened the excitement.

The highlight of the evening was the heartfelt recognition bestowed upon the esteemed members of the 1997 batch, celebrating their achievements and contributions as an inspiration to the Apeejay community. Beyond the spectacle, the alumni meet served as a platform for reconnecting, reminiscing, and forging new bonds, reaffirming the sense of belonging and camaraderie that defines the Apeejay legacy.
