Earlier this week, Apeejay School, Sector 15, Faridabad, observed the 14th punyatithi of Shrimati Rajeshwari Paul. The solemn special assembly brought together students and staff in remembrance and gratitude. The programme also reflected on the spirit of motherhood and the values of compassion, care, and humanity that continue to guide the Apeejay family.

Shrimati Rajeshwari Paul was the esteemed wife of Dr Stya Paul, Founder-Chairman, Apeejay Stya and Svran Group, and the mother of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group; Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University; and Chairman, Apeejay Education. Remembered for her grace and kindness, the ‘first lady’ of Apeejay Stya and Svran Group believed deeply in the potential of children and encouraged young minds to dream with confidence and purpose.

The assembly began with the lamp lighting, followed by prayers, affirmations, and inspiring thoughts shared by students. Soulful bhajans presented by the school choir created a reflective atmosphere across the campus. Students also expressed their thoughts through a heartfelt speech and a touching poem that highlighted the importance of empathy, selfless service, and inner strength.

The school Principal Capt Praveen Roy, Academic Coordinator Mrs Deepa Sharma, and Pre-primary In-charge Mrs Gunjan Sharma offered floral tributes in honour of Shrimati Rajeshwari Paul. Their gesture reflected the deep respect the institution continues to hold for her life and values.

The programme also recognised the role of mothers in shaping lives and nurturing aspirations. Through various presentations, students acknowledged the quiet strength, sacrifice, and emotional support that mothers provide every day. The celebration helped young learners connect values taught at home with the importance of kindness and responsibility in society.

The assembly concluded on a thoughtful note with prayers and gratitude. Beyond remembrance, the programme reminded students of the importance of compassion, humanity, and service in everyday life.
