A school can certainly be seen as a second home for a child, offering emotional, social, and intellectual growth. By creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment, schools are instrumental in shaping a child’s future. “Apeejay truly feels like a second home, nurturing every aspect of a child’s development, from academics to emotional well-being,” says Sejal Janeth, whose daughter Anaaya studies in class V at Apeejay School, Nerul.
Read on to know why this mother is all praises for this school.
Why did you select Apeejay as an admission choice?
I chose Apeejay for admission because it consistently ranks among the top schools in Nerul, and I appreciate its well-structured entrance program. The school’s culture promotes diversity, welcoming children from various backgrounds. I’ve always heard positive things about Apeejay since my childhood, and after seeing Anaaya excel here, I confidently enrolled my younger son. The school’s focus on creativity encourages children to think collaboratively and work hard, which plays a significant role in shaping their character.
How are the teachers here?
The teachers here have always shown kindness and care toward my child. During the two years of COVID-19, they provided Anaaya with personal attention, and I’ve witnessed how they positively impacted her character and personality. They’ve instilled a sense of confidence in her. The school emphasises self-reliance, encouraging children to take part in activities like annual day preparation, school magazine work, and similar initiatives.
What about the extracurricular activities at school?
The school’s curriculum is both research-driven and skill-based. I’ve noticed how the teachers encourage my daughter to participate in various activities and explore her natural talents. Recently, Anaaya was selected for the Throw Ball and One-legged Tag (langdi) competitions, where she performed exceptionally well.

Do you agree that school is the second home for a child?
I completely agree with this. My children spend a significant amount of time at school, not just learning academically but also gaining diverse experiences that shape their childhood. The value system promoted by the school aligns perfectly with my own beliefs, ensuring that my children grow up in an environment that nurtures their overall development in the way I envisioned.
How has Anaaya’s journey been so far at school?
Anaaya is naturally inquisitive and enjoys seeking knowledge independently, but Apeejay has truly nurtured her growth. The projects assigned by her teachers encourage her to take initiative, and I only need to provide guidance. She has developed her thought process and ideas for everything now, thanks to the school’s support in fostering her creativity and independence.
