Pending JEE Main 2021 exams likely in August, NEET may be postponed to September: Report

The government is planning to conduct the first of the two pending editions of the engineering entrance exam JEE-Mains by the end of July or August, even as the medical entrance exam NEET is likely to be postponed to September this year, according to reports. From the current academic session, the National Testing Agency will conduct the engineering entrance test four times a year. However, after conducting the February and March exams, the next phases, scheduled for April and May, got postponed owing to the second wave of Covid-19. The JEE Advanced 2021 exam, which is conducted to facilitate admissions to the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology and the National Institutes of Technology, was also postponed because of the pandemic.
