Model United Nations popularly known as MUN among students is the big day of reckoning.  Students work extremely hard to perform well at the conference and present their arguments in a coherent and lucid manner.

This educational simulation programme which acquaints school students with diplomatic and international relations akin to the procedure of the United Nations is a much awaited event for all students.

In sync with the above mentioned thought, the AIS-MUN was recently organised by Apeejay School Faridabad. Students from different schools came together to debate, discuss and find a harmonious way forward for burning issues.  Over 15 student delegates from Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park participated in the MUN and created a highly positive impact with their creative arguments. Among the delegates who secured a position in the conference was Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park students Dhruvi Jain and Aryan Pandey.

Dhruvi was felicitated with the best photography award in the International Press committee while Aryan bagged a special mention in the AIPPM Committee. Speaking about his experience, Aryan said, “I feel very happy on winning the high commendation. Through this, I learned that leaders are not those who are defined by their exercise of power, but instead by their capacity to increase more leaders among them.”

Dhruvi was also very elated after winning the award. She said, “Honestly speaking, I was not very good at photography. In fact, I was terrible in the beginning, but I still wanted to pursue this passion of mine and I ended up working a lot on it. I would suggest everybody to follow something that intrigues you!”
