Open Magazine Ranking 2023: Apeejay Institute of Design ranks #2 in Delhi

Apeejay Institute of Design (AID) has been ranked number 5 in North India among all fashion (private) colleges by Open Magazine in its ‘Best Colleges Issue 2023’. Further in the state-wise ranking category, the design institute has secured the second position in Delhi.
Established in 1991 with the sole intent and focus on spreading the message of “Design Thinking”, AID offers a wide range of programmes.

Sharing her thoughts on this achievement, Dr Reetu Betala, Founder Director, Advisor-Design Education expresses, “It is indeed a matter of great pride for Apeejay Institute of Design to have received the ranking, specifically being the senior most institution, imparting ‘Design Education’. AID has always believed in the philosophy of ‘Design’, which is a concern for the betterment of life around us. This Institution stands apart by means of the nature of conducting its programmes. In 1993 it launched the B Design programme which was totally on the International pattern of education involving Semester System, Research, Internship, Live Projects and Tie-up with Industry.”

She further adds how the Institute today lives upto its reputation by spreading its name in domestic as well as International arena. It has become a brand of its own in the area of ‘Design Education’. “The Institution for the last so many years has had a very intimate and strong
industry-institution interaction as well as global acceptance. The other aspect which the Institute has also stressed with the student community is for nurturing and building future entrepreneurs, as it believes that this is a crucial need of the country. Today, we have so many of them established throughout different capacities and fields. The other success point was our students received International placements besides the student community consisted from all over the country.”
