NTA prepares to unveil JEE Main 2024 Paper 2 results soon

As the anticipation builds, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is on the verge of announcing the results of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2024 Paper 2. The results will be unveiled shortly on the official website of JEE Mains, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Comparing this year’s examination cycle with the previous one, where the results for the Paper 2 exam were declared on February 28, the NTA seems to be adhering to a similar timeline. In a notice shared during the release of Paper 1 results, the NTA assured that scores for Paper 2A (B.Arch.) and 2B (B.Planning) would be issued in the coming days.

Over 74,000 students registered for the Paper 2 exams, reflecting substantial participation in this crucial phase of the JEE Mains. Of these registered candidates, 55,493 appeared for the exam, resulting in an overall attendance rate of 75%. The examination witnessed a commendable turnout despite the challenges posed by various factors.

The Paper 1 exam results, declared on February 13, showcased excellence among candidates, with twenty-three individuals securing a perfect score of 100. The majority of these top performers hailed from Telangana, highlighting the proficiency of students from the region.

Looking ahead, the NTA has opened applications for the second edition of the JEE-Main, and interested candidates can submit their applications by March 2.

The second session of the exam is scheduled to take place from April 4 to 15. Candidates who applied and paid the examination fee for the first session are required to log in using their previous application number and password. They can then choose the paper, medium of examination, state code of eligibility, and cities for the second session, and provide educational qualification details before paying the examination fees.

Sadhna Parashar, Senior Director (Exams) at the National Testing Agency, emphasized the importance of this process for candidates aiming to appear in the second session of JEE-Main 2024. The agency has streamlined the procedure, making it convenient for applicants to seamlessly transition from the first to the second session.

As the JEE Mains 2024 Paper 2 results hang in the balance, students eagerly await the official announcement from the NTA, hopeful for positive outcomes reflecting their hard work and dedication.
