Noida schools to be closed on these dates; know more

On September 18, 2023, the District School Inspector of Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, declared that schools ranging from nursery to class XII will close at 2 pm on both September 21 and 22, 2023. This directive applies to all schools affiliated with any educational board.

As per news sources, all colleges, universities, and higher educational institutes are mandated to remain closed. This decision has been made in consideration of the UP International Trade Show 2023 and the MotoGP events scheduled in the city. The show is scheduled to be held from September 21 to 25 at Greater Noida Expo Centre while the Moto GP event will take place from 22 to 24 September at Buddha International Circuit.

In accordance with instructions from the District Magistrate, schools of all boards, ranging from nursery to class XII, will observe a holiday on September 22, following the closure of schools after 2 pm on September 21, 2023. This measure is implemented to ensure the safety and convenience of students, parents, and to facilitate law enforcement, security, and traffic arrangements. A letter issued by the school inspector emphasises strict adherence to these directives.
