No-bag day brings a joyful start to pre-primary students

To mark the joyous arrival of summer and the excitement of upcoming holidays, Apeejay School, Sector 15, Faridabad, organised a vibrant Pyjama Party for the Pre-primary wing. The event aimed to blend fun with learning, allowing children to celebrate the season with creativity, camaraderie, and cheerful moments shared with classmates.

The Pre-primary Wing was abuzz with laughter, excitement, and vibrant energy as the young learners welcomed the summer season with a delightful Pyjama Party. Designed as a fun-filled ‘No-Bag Day’, the event brought smiles and joy to every corner of the campus as children walked into their classrooms dressed in colourful pyjamas, clutching their favourite toys, pillows, and cushions.

The celebration was thoughtfully planned to provide a relaxed yet engaging environment where children could express themselves freely. The day kicked off with cheerful greetings and warm exchanges as students showcased their sleepover-themed attire and comfort companions during a lively ‘Show and Tell’ session. This not only allowed the children to speak confidently about their favourite toy or item but also helped build their communication skills in a fun, informal setting.

Throughout the day, classrooms echoed with giggles and music as the children participated in an array of joyful activities. From singing and dancing to interactive games, the little ones were immersed in an atmosphere of play-based learning. Teachers joined in with equal enthusiasm, turning the event into a memorable bonding experience for both students and educators.

A special highlight of the day was the hands-on cooking segment, where children engaged in making simple treats like chocolate balls and popcorn. With the guidance of their teachers, they stirred, rolled, and sprinkled their way to delicious fun — learning basic kitchen skills and enjoying the fruits of their labour together.

Adding to the charm was a cosy storytelling session that brought calm and wonder, allowing the children to wind down after an action-packed morning. As they snuggled up with their pillows, the classroom transformed into a dreamland of imagination and shared laughter.
