The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit cards for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination. Candidates scheduled to appear for the re-test can download their hall tickets from the official NEET website using their application credentials. The re-exam will be held on June 21, 2026, in a single shift at centres across the country. More than 22 lakh medical aspirants are expected to participate.
The admit card is mandatory for entry into the exam hall and contains key details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, photograph, signature, exam centre, reporting time, exam schedule, and important instructions.
To download the admit card, candidates must log in to the official portal using their application number and password. They are advised to verify all details carefully after downloading the document. Candidates should contact the NTA helpdesk immediately if they discover any discrepancies in their personal information, photograph, signature, exam centre details, or reporting schedule.
In a significant update, the NTA has introduced changes to the question booklet format for the re-test. Two additional rough-work pages have been inserted after the instruction page, while two more pages have been added at the end of the booklet to provide extra space for calculations and note-making during the examination.
The revised format will be implemented across both English and regional language versions of the question paper. According to the agency, the changes will help candidates manage rough work more effectively.
Separately, the NTA has extended the deadline for candidates who appeared in the earlier NEET UG 2026 exam to submit or verify their bank account details. The facility will remain available until June 22, allowing students to ensure their banking information is correctly registered.
