Mrs. Swati Sethi is a homemaker. Her husband, Mr. Mukesh Sethi, works at ASAHI Glass Pvt Ltd., India’s leading integrated glass solutions company. They are proud parents of Navya Sethi, class 8 student at Apeejay School, Kharghar. In a brief interview, Mrs. Sethi lists her reasons for choosing the school, delineates her daughter’s progress at school and shares the experience of the online classes. Edited excerpts:

Why did you choose Apeejay School Kharghar for Navya’s admission?

We liked the school a lot. It has a good name in the field of education. We had initially tried for admission in a few other schools, however, we were keen on getting Navya enrolled in Apeejay Kharghar. Luckily, we got admission in this school. Navya likes the school a lot.

Please tell us a bit about Navya and take us through her progress at school?

It’s all going well with Navya. She is performing very well at school. Her score is always in the 90s. I have never had to face any problems with Navya’s education; her teachers guide her a lot, be it in the online or offline classes. She loves to study English and play badminton. She even started badminton coaching in the school some time ago.

Are the teachers engaging well with the students?

All the teachers at the school are engaging very well with the students. Most students admire their class teacher for the way they simplify concepts for students’ understanding. And it’s the same with Navya. The behaviour of all the teachers is very cordial with the parents. We have never faced a problem so far.

What is the best thing about the school?

The attitude of the teachers is the best. The way they make the students study, clear their concepts is truly amazing. The teachers are always a text away from the parents or students.

How was Navya’s experience of the online class?

It was very good. The teachers cooperated a lot with us during the pandemic-induced lockdown. The students and teachers had a good bonding between them and so, everything went ahead smoothly. All the classes took place regularly and timely.

Now that the school has reopened, is Navya happy to be back at the school?

She is delighted to be back at school. It is a welcome change for her.
