Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus, Jalandhar (AIMETC) in Jalandhar celebrated National Youth Day in style as the institute commemorated the birth anniversary of one of the greatest philosopher, thinker and doer of the Indian soil: Swami Vivekananda.

The theme for this year’s National Youth Day was “My Bharat-Viksit Bharat@2047- By the youth, for the Youth.”

Keeping the theme in consideration, Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of AIMETC, wished for the young minds and urged them to think on the future of work industries, innovation and 21st century skills.

He mentioned, “The power of the youth is the commonwealth for the entire world. The faces of young people are the faces of our past, our present and our future. No segment in society can match with the power, idealism, enthusiasm, and courage of the young people.”

He further mentioned, “You all must read about the life of Swami Vivekananda and learn lessons from his incredible journey. He was the leader everyone wants to work under. Make Swami ji’s quotes your ideal , realise your potential and work towards making India a better nation in all aspects. Jai Hind! Wishing you all a happy National Youth Day!”
