At Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, the sense of community and tradition runs deep. Apeejay Newsroom had the pleasure of speaking with Neha Kapoor, a proud alumna of Apeejay herself, whose children are also continuing the family legacy. Her son, Nishaant Kapoor, is a bright and enthusiastic 7th grader at the school, and her daughter, Saanvi, is pursuing her Bachelor’s in Designing from Apeejay College of Fine Arts. Neha Kapoor shares her experiences and satisfaction with Apeejay, highlighting the school’s excellence and the family’s strong bond with the institution.

How has your experience with the school been so far?

I am totally satisfied with Apeejay. Times have changed since I was a student, and the school has improved significantly. The staff is equally good, and new parents just need to give it some time to see the benefits. The school environment remains very supportive and enriching.

How is Nishaant academically?

Nishaant is very intelligent and performs well in his studies, thanks to his dedicated teachers and our support at home. He loves going to school and is enthusiastic about the various activities and games offered.

What is Nishaant’s relationship with his teachers like?

Nishaant has a great rapport with his teachers. He gets very excited when his teachers recognise his efforts and send his work to the Principal for review. It’s a proud moment for him, especially since many of his teachers also taught me and his sister. It feels like a family tradition continuing.

Can you share a memorable moment involving Nishaant at school?

Nishaant always looks forward to the annual day celebrations. He has participated in various roles, from plays to dances and music performances. He practises with full enthusiasm and loves every moment of it. Seeing him so excited and passionate about these events is truly heartwarming.

How do you feel about the continuity of education within your family at Apeejay?

It’s a wonderful feeling to see my children attending the same school I did. The fact that they are being taught by some of the same teachers who taught me adds a special touch. It feels like a legacy being passed down, and I am confident that they are receiving an excellent education just as I did.
