At Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, parents find more than just academics – they discover a nurturing environment where children grow holistically. One such parent, Mrs. Anjana Yadav, mother of Class 3 student Shlok Yadav, shared her experience about her son’s learning journey at the school. From academics to extracurricular activities and values, she reflects on how Apeejay is shaping his personality.
Read edited excerpts:
How has Shlok adapted to the school environment?
Shlok enjoys his school life thoroughly. He never hesitates to go to school and looks forward to it each day. Since joining in Class 2, I have seen a marked improvement in his academics and overall personality. His reading and writing skills have improved significantly.
What activities does he enjoy the most?
He is very fond of outdoor games and especially skating. These activities keep him active, engaged and happy. While he doesn’t show much interest in indoor hobbies, he thoroughly enjoys spending time outdoors with his friends.
What kind of values and habits has he developed?
Apeejay’s playful yet structured teaching style helps children understand responsibility from an early age. For example, Shlok often tries to resolve small conflicts among his friends, showing a sense of care and responsibility. He has also become more expressive about his daily experiences, sharing with me everything that happens at school.
How do you find the teachers and the curriculum?
The teachers are excellent. They explain concepts patiently and keep children interested in lessons. I also appreciate the school’s approach of making learning enjoyable. It encourages children to develop curiosity, social skills, and confidence.

What are your thoughts on safety and parent involvement at the school?
The school is very attentive to child safety. If children get hurt, they are immediately taken to the medical room. Also, the school’s events and functions where parents are invited are wonderful. They give us a chance to interact with teachers, principal, and other parents, which strengthens the parent-school connection.
What has been your most memorable moment with Shlok at school?
Watching him perform on stage is always a proud moment because he usually doesn’t showcase such talents at home. The school gives him confidence to explore new things.
