Read edited excerpts:

How much did you score in the GPAT exam?  Since when did you start preparing?

I started preparing seriously for GPAT during my final phase of B.Pharmacy studies. For preparation, I followed their modules and guidance regularly. My preparation journey mainly focused on concept building, revision, and consistent practice through mock tests and previous year papers.

What were your preparation strategies? Which are the books or study material did you refer to for preparation? How did Apeejay help you in this prep?

My preparation strategy was mainly based on consistency, concept clarity, and revision. I created a proper timetable to divide subjects according to their weightage and my strengths and weaknesses. I focused more on subjects like Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Pharmacognosy.

For study material, I mainly referred to GDG coaching modules, class notes, previous year GPAT papers, and standard pharmacy textbooks. Regular mock tests and revision sessions played an important role in improving my preparation.

Apeejay helped me a lot during this journey through supportive faculty members, academic guidance, practical exposure in laboratories, and encouraging participation in seminars, presentations, and research activities. The academic environment motivated me to stay disciplined and focused toward my goal.

How important is it to have an effective study plan to crack the GPAT exam?

An effective study plan is extremely important for cracking the GPAT exam because the syllabus is vast and requires proper time management. A structured study plan helps in maintaining consistency, covering all subjects systematically, and giving enough time for revision and practice. It also helps students identify weak areas and improve them gradually. Without proper planning, it becomes difficult to manage preparation effectively.

Is it important to solve mock test papers and why?

Yes, solving mock test papers is very important for GPAT preparation. Mock tests help students understand the exam pattern, improve speed and accuracy, and develop time management skills. They also help in identifying weak topics that require more focus. Regular practice through mock tests builds confidence and reduces exam fear. Additionally, solving previous year papers gives a better understanding of frequently asked concepts and important topics.

Is it important to solve mock test papers and why?

My next plan is to continue advancing in the pharmaceutical field through higher education, research, and professional growth. I want to enhance my knowledge and practical skills in pharmaceutical sciences and contribute meaningfully to healthcare and innovation.

In the next five years, I see myself working in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector in a responsible position, contributing toward research, development, and patient-oriented healthcare solutions while continuously learning and growing professionally.
