Rahul Sindhu from Apeejay School of Management (ASM) has bagged a job offer from HDFC Bank for the position of a relationship manager. The MBA student, who got the offer through campus placements, thanks his mentors at ASM for their constant support and guidance.

Excerpts from an interview:
Was this your first job interview?
This was my second. I have always aspired to work in the banking sector and I am very happy to have got this job offer from HDFC Bank. I look forward to starting my new journey.
Confidence is key when it comes to a job interview. How did you cope with nervousness?
I was slightly nervous but that is natural. What helped me immensely were the mentoring classes at ASM. Shweta Jha ma’am, my mentor, prepared me thoroughly for the interview. Her classes helped a great deal in overcoming fear or any other difficulty that I faced initially.
Not just my mentor, but all the other professors at ASM were equally supportive and helped us improve our presentation, analytical, writing, and conversational skills.
Did ASM provide an in-depth understanding of concepts?
Apart from the routine classes, ASM frequently organised guest lectures, alumni interaction sessions as well as insightful talks by industry experts. Recently, the students were also taken on an industry visit to an Amul factory in Faridabad for practical exposure. All in all, education at ASM has been holistic.
How have ASM’s co-curricular activities shaped your personality?
I participated in a lot of competitions and activities including the annual fest ‘Synergy’, which boosted my confidence level and shaped my personality. Overall, I have had a fantastic experience at ASM and I am grateful to the wonderful faculty who always believed in me and helped me.
