A dad is a person 

                  Who is loving and kind, 

                       And often he knows 

             What is in your mind 

         A dad can be your best friend  

      A dad can be patient and very strong 

    There’s always a place in you 

      Deep into your heart  

    More grateful and proud 

  Just call it your dad 

   Thank you dad  

     For listening and caring

     When no one is with me
