‘My daughters have achieved academic goals and laurels in an amiable environment’

Amrita Verma is a single mother of three lovely daughters enrolled in Apeejay School, Noida. She is an engineer, educationist and currently working as Human Resource manager. In an Interview, Amrita says, “Coming from an army background, I want to raise my kids in an environment, where they are taught to hold strong vision and trust the process.” Excerpts from an interview.

What made you think Apeejay School, Noida, would be the right choice for your child?

Do you personally interact with the faculty on a regular basis?

The teachers of the school are very cordial and approachable. They take utmost care of my daughters and have always been a pillar of support. They are always available and reliable in times of need.

Tell us what you think about the way teachers conduct classes.

The teachers conduct classes with immense hardwork. They give children the opportunity to interact, express and ask doubts. The students are taught through various means like theatres, education trips, OHP  etc. Teachers provide clarity in concepts and help kids learn analytical applications.

How has your child’s learning progress been?

The children have learnt the lessons of life in a systematic way under the proper guidance and mentorship of the Apeejay teachers. They have learnt discipline, achieved scholastic goals, co-scholastic laurels in an amiable environment. The school is a temple of wisdom, which has helped my daughters broaden their education horizon.

How well does the school ensure children’s safety and security?

The school takes utmost care of the children’s safety and security at school premises. All the school gates have ample guards and staff to keep a check on the activities of children and visitors. There are cameras installed at relevant spots. Also, the teachers are on the constant rounds to keep vigilance and ensure the child’s well-being.

Are you working, if yes? Then how Apeejay is helping working parents?

I am a single working parent but I am in a constant loop with school activities. The school shares messages and mails on a regular basis to keep the parents updated. The teachers make sure that children participate in school activities rigorously. Overall development of kids is always under scrutiny by the higher authorities as well. I am really thankful to the school for giving a helping hand in raising my kids at a high standard of life. I take this opportunity to thank the school for preparing kids to be global citizens.
