“It is not the same anymore”, many educators, policy makers, teachers, and students have stated in popular news reports after the re-opening of the classes post Covid-19. Surely, the education sector has witnessed a paradigm shift as everything moved online during the pandemic. But, this change was also a learning curve for many, and now we are better prepared to function in a hybrid mode with greater proficiency.

To recognise the efforts schools put in during this global health crisis and share thoughts on the next steps, Time2Grow Media recently held an Education Summit themed ‘Hybrid Learning: The New Future of Education.’

At its 14th edition, held at Hotel Trident, Nariman Point in Mumbai, Apeejay School, Kharghar in Navi Mumbai was conferred the ‘Leading School for Academic Excellence 2022’ honour. Amongst other notable members of the Government of Maharashtra, the Chief Guest of the programme was Shri. Deepak Vasant Kesarkar, Cabinet Minister for Ministry of Education, Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, Ministry of Marathi Language. He presented the award to the school’s Principal, Ms. Tejaswini Katdare.

Apeejay was recognised for its contribution towards the field of education. The award also acknowledged the innovative teaching, learning methods that have been put in practice in the school.

Consistent efforts, perseverance of our staff and outstanding academic and co-curricular performance of our students has helped the school in reaching great heights. It was rightly said by Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam that to succeed in life and achieve results, you must understand and master three mighty forces: desire, belief and expectation”.
