Learners at Apeejay School, Tanda Road celebrate National Tiger Day
Each age group took part in an activity tailored to their developmental stage.
Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, celebrated National Tiger Day with great enthusiasm. Youngest learners from Pre-Nursery, Nursery, LKG, and UKG took part in a series of creative and engaging activities centred on wildlife conservation.
Through the day’s activities, children were introduced to the significance of the tiger as India’s national animal. They were also taught age-appropriate lessons on the importance of protecting wildlife and conserving forests. The event was designed to make these themes both fun and memorable for the young learners.
Each age group took part in an activity tailored to their developmental stage. The Pre-Nursery children engaged in finger dabbing to create tiger faces. The Nursery students crafted colourful tiger headgear using paper craft techniques. LKG students worked on tiger face paper crafts. The UKG children created tiger-themed cards, adding their own creative touches to the celebration.
Beyond the joy of hands-on art and craft, the activities served a dual purpose like helping children strengthen their creativity and fine motor skills. It also instilled early values of wildlife conservation and environmental responsibility.
