The Interact Club of Apeejay School, Saket, in collaboration with Balvantray Mehta Vidya Bhawan School, organised a Youth Activation Session, facilitated by Special Olympics Bharat. The session marked a significant step towards nurturing inclusive leadership and strengthening the values of empathy, collaboration and social responsibility among young leaders.
As Unified School Partners, the two schools came together to orient the newly elected Interact Club Board for the academic session 2026–27. The programme served as an engaging platform to introduce students to the principles of unified leadership, where inclusion, mutual respect and equal opportunities form the foundation of meaningful community service.
The interactive session encouraged students to reflect on the importance of creating an environment where everyone feels valued and empowered. Through thought-provoking discussions, collaborative activities, and real-life examples, the facilitators highlighted how empathy and understanding can transform communities and inspire positive social change.

Special Olympics Bharat representatives introduced the participants to the concept of inclusive leadership, emphasising the role of young people in promoting acceptance and breaking barriers. Students explored ways to build stronger connections, celebrate diversity, and ensure that every individual, regardless of ability, has an equal opportunity to participate and contribute.
The newly elected Interact Club members actively participated in the activities, demonstrating enthusiasm and a strong commitment to leading with compassion and purpose. The session also provided them with valuable insights into teamwork, effective communication and responsible decision-making which are qualities essential for successful youth leaders.
The collaboration between Apeejay School, Saket, Balvantray Mehta Vidya Bhawan School and Special Olympics Bharat reflected a shared commitment to empowering students as changemakers who can foster a more inclusive and equitable society. By engaging in meaningful conversations and experiential learning, participants gained a deeper understanding of the impact of kindness, respect, and collective action.







The Youth Activation Session concluded on an inspiring note, motivating the Interact Club Board to carry forward the ideals of service, inclusion and collaboration throughout the year. As they embark on their leadership journey, the young leaders are well-equipped to initiate community-driven projects that make a positive difference while championing the values of empathy and unity.
The event served as a meaningful beginning to a year dedicated to purposeful service, collaborative learning, and impactful leadership, reinforcing Apeejay School, Saket’s commitment to developing socially conscious and responsible global citizens.
