VVM awareness workshop held at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park aimed at early preparation for students
Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park recently held an enlightening workshop and hands-on activities session dedicated to the ‘Awareness Program for VVM 2024-25’. This initiative aimed to ignite a passion for science among students and prepare them for the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) exam.
The workshop featured a distinguished panel of experts, including:
- Mr Amit Sharma, Senior Administrative cum Educational Officer at Nirbhaya Science Museums
- Dr Ranjeet Singh, Assistant Professor of Zoology at Zakir Hussain College, University of Delhi
- Dr Manoj Kumar Jaiswal, Assistant Professor at Shaheed Rajguru College, University of Delhi
- Mr Hemant Kumar, Legal Advisor at the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO)
The sessions were meticulously designed to engage students with a variety of science-based activities. These activities not only covered a range of scientific topics and principles but also aimed to stimulate curiosity and provide a hands-on learning experience.
Participants received a comprehensive overview of the VVM exam, including its significance and the opportunities it presents for young science enthusiasts. The resource persons delved into India’s contributions to science and technology, which sparked enthusiasm and pride among the students.
