Kindergartners celebrate freedom at Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, Jalandhar 

Patriotic performances, creative activities and a joyful Freedom Walk mark the Independence Day celebrations for young learners

Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour, creating a joyful and memorable experience for its young learners at Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, Jalandhar. The campus was beautifully adorned in the vibrant colours of the tiranga, while children arrived dressed in shades of saffron, white, green, and blue, reflecting the spirit of the national celebration. 

The programme featured a series of engaging performances and activities that allowed the children to express their love for the nation through music, dance, and creativity. Nursery students presented delightful dance performances to patriotic songs, filling the atmosphere with energy and enthusiasm. A few young learners also showcased their confidence and talent through solo performances, earning appreciation from the audience. 

The UKG students added a melodious touch to the celebrations with their soulful renditions of patriotic songs. Their performances highlighted the children’s enthusiasm and helped create a strong sense of pride and togetherness.

Teachers also interacted with the students and spoke about the significance of Independence Day in a simple and age-appropriate manner. The sessions encouraged the young learners to understand the values of freedom, unity, responsibility, and love for the country. Students across classes further participated in creative classroom activities based on the Independence Day theme, making the occasion both educational and enjoyable.

The celebration concluded with the National Anthem as everyone came together to honour the nation. This was followed by a joyful Freedom Walk, with the children participating enthusiastically and celebrating the spirit of independence.

Principal Dr Rajesh Kumar Chandel, the school In-charge, Ms Nidhi Ghai, and the teaching staff were present during the celebration. They encouraged the young learners and applauded their performances, appreciating their confidence, creativity, and patriotic spirit. 

The celebration provided the children with an opportunity to learn about the importance of Independence Day while expressing themselves through meaningful and enjoyable activities. It left the campus filled with smiles, pride, and a renewed sense of love for the nation.
