Kaizen MUN 6.0 brings global issues to the table
Over 400 delegates unite for dialogue and diplomacy at Apeejay School, Pitampura
Recently, Apeejay School, Pitampura, hosted Kaizen Model United Nations 6.0. The annual conference brought together over 400 delegates from schools across Delhi-NCR. It gave young participants a platform to discuss global concerns, exchange perspectives, and understand the principles of diplomacy.
The first day began with a graceful opening ceremony that set the tone for two days of dialogue and debate. The proceedings commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp. A soulful group song and a captivating orchestral performance followed.
An inspiring beginning
Chief Guests Dr Mallika Kumar and Ms Radhika Khera graced the inaugural session. Their presence added warmth and significance to the occasion while encouraging delegates ahead of the committee sessions.
Following the ceremony, the delegates moved to their respective committees with enthusiasm and confidence. The conference featured 10 committees, each chaired by distinguished Executive Board members.
Participants discussed issues of global importance, presented varied viewpoints, and engaged in thoughtful debates. The sessions reflected the central values of the Model United Nations, including dialogue, collaboration, and respect for diverse ideas.
Recognising excellence
The closing ceremony was graced by Mr Pramod Katiar, whose presence added significance to the occasion. More than 50 awards were presented across the committees in recognition of outstanding performances. Apeejay School, Pitampura, secured the Best School Delegation trophy after winning the highest number of titles.
The success of Kaizen MUN 2026 was supported by the Principal, Senior Vice-principal, Vice-principal, In-charges, teachers, and staff members. The Secretariat and organising team also contributed through their commitment and coordination.
Kaizen MUN 6.0 offered delegates an enriching experience beyond competition. It strengthened their confidence, encouraged informed discussion, and reinforced the importance of listening to different perspectives. The conference celebrated young voices and their ability to engage responsibly with matters of global relevance.
