JEE Main 2024: City intimation slips soon, registration for JEE Advanced opens

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is on the verge of releasing the city intimation slips for the eagerly awaited Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Session 2. Prospective candidates, who have diligently registered for this highly anticipated entrance exam, will soon have the opportunity to ascertain the city designated for their exam.

As per the official communication from the NTA website, the unveiling of the examination cities was slated to commence in the third week of March. Subsequently, candidates can anticipate the availability of their admit cards for download from the NTA portal three days before the scheduled exam dates, falling between April 1 and April 15, 2024. A crucial date for candidates to mark on their calendars is April 25, 2024, which marks the scheduled announcement of results.

The JEE Main exam serves as the primary gateway for securing admission into esteemed institutions such as the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and various Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs). Those who successfully qualify for the JEE Main 2024 will subsequently become eligible to partake in the JEE Advanced.

Online registration for the JEE Advanced is slated to commence on April 21, 2024, and conclude on April 30, 2024. Through the JEE Advanced, the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) extend admission opportunities for undergraduate courses leading to Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s, and Bachelor-Master Dual Degree programs in Engineering, Sciences, or Architecture. Notably, IIT-Madras is the esteemed organising institute for the JEE Advanced 2024.
