JEE-Advanced to be held on October 3

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)-Advanced for admission to various IITs would now be conducted on October 3, 2021, Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced recently. The examination was earlier postponed on June 25, 2021, due to the prevailing COVID-19 scenario in the country. “JEE (Advanced) 2021 examination for admission in #IITs will be held on the 3rd October, 2021. The examination will be conducted adhering to all Covid-protocols,” Pradhan tweeted.  Around 2.5 lakh students are expected to appear for the examination this year. IIT-Kharagpur has taken responsibility to conduct the exam this year.
