Jalandhar institute conducts engaging workshop on Advanced Excel

Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar recently organised a two-day workshop on ‘Advanced Excel Skills – Mastery of Spreadsheets’. The workshop aimed to provide participants with comprehensive learning experiences to enhance their proficiency in Microsoft Excel and its advanced features.

Mr. Daljeet Singh, Assistant Professor at AIMETC, was the resource person for the workshop. His expertise and guidance were instrumental in creating an engaging and informative learning environment. Through his meticulous planning and seamless execution, Mr. Singh ensured that participants received a holistic learning experience.

The workshop covered a wide range of topics, including advanced formulas and functions, data analysis and visualisation, pivot tables and charts, macros and automation, and tips and tricks for increased productivity. Participants had the opportunity to gain hands-on training and practical exercises to reinforce their understanding and acquire valuable insights that could be directly applied in their personal and professional lives.

Expressing his appreciation for the efforts of the resource person and the organising team, Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director at AIMETC, acknowledged Mr Singh’s dedication and attention to detail, which contributed to the overall success of the workshop. Dr. Bagga also extended his congratulations to all the participants for their active involvement and commitment throughout the event.

The workshop received positive feedback from the participants. Arushi Suri, a B.Tech CSE student, described the experience as “phenomenal” and highlighted the workshop’s prominence, scholastic nature, and engrossing content. She expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to learn new features of Microsoft Excel.

Ishima, another B.Tech CSE student, also shared her positive experience, stating that she thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and learned a great deal from it. She praised the workshop’s informative nature and appreciated how the content was presented in a clear and easy-to-understand manner. Ishima highly recommended the workshop to others interested in enhancing their Excel skills.

Overall, the workshop provided a platform for participants to expand their knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. The engaging sessions, hands-on training, and valuable insights shared by the resource person created a conducive learning environment.
