Jalandhar Institute bids farewell to the outgoing batch with a grand party

The goodbyes during the event mark a memorable end to the academic year

Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC) in Jalandhar bids adieu to their final year students. The institute organised a grand farewell party ‘RUKHSAT’ for its BTech, MCA, and BCA courses. The event was a huge success and filled with lots of fun and zeal.

During the party, the students actively participated in various activities such as singing, dancing, games, and a ramp walk, showcasing their innate talent. This was followed by an engaging question answer round. Outgoing students shared nostalgic and inspirational moments spent on the campus, while juniors conveyed their best wishes to the seniors for their future endeavours.

The party was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers to reminisce joyous moments. Students competed against each other for the Mr. and Ms. Farewell title, with the winners being Mr. Damanveer and Ms. Taniya from B.Tech, Mr. Jasdeep Singh and Ms. Khushoo from MCA, and Mr. Jayesh Gupta and Ms. Naaz Butalia from BCA. Additionally, Mr. Diamond and Ms. Isha Thakur won the Mr. Handsome and Ms. Diva titles, respectively.

Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Co-Promoter and President of Apeejay Stya and Svran Group, Chairperson, Apeejay Education, and Chancellor Apeejay Stya University, extended her best wishes and blessings to the outgoing batch.

While expressing his views, Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director at AIMETC said, “I feel immense pride in the accomplishments you have achieved during your time at AIMETC. Also, it is a feeling of nostalgia as we bid farewell to all of you. As you embark on your next journey, I want you to remember the lessons that you have learnt here. You will face many defeats in life, but never let yourself be defeated. Positive thinking helps you to frame your mind-set and change your life. Remember, success is the result of perfection, hard work, learning from failure, loyalty, and persistence.”

Dr. Bagga complimented the efforts and dedication of the senior batch and gave the best wishes to prize winners. He also acclimated the juniors for organising such a fabulous party.

Similarly, AIMETC also extended a warm goodbye to its final year MBA, BBA, and B. Com (H) students by organising a memorable farewell party ‘Memory Heist’.

The students participated in a range of activities during the event, including singing, dancing, games, and a ramp walk. They impressed the audience with their confidence and communication skills, particularly during the Question-Answer round. The boys demonstrated a positive attitude and confidence that was equally impressive.

While expressing his views, Anuj Thapa, a MBA final semester student stated, “I feel extremely proud and honoured to be awarded the Mr. Farewell title in the final semester of my MBA. The farewell event was beautifully organised, and we all had a great time. I wish all my college mates and juniors all the best for their future endeavours.”

Another student of MBA Batch 2021-2023, Shweta expressed, “I am grateful to have been chosen as Ms. Farewell for the MBA Batch 2021-2023. The farewell was an absolute delight, with a modelling round and a talent round. I will always cherish the knowledge and success that I have gained from my time at Apeejay Institute.”

At the same time, Jiya Sharma, a final year student of BBA said, “The farewell party was an unforgettable event that will always be close to my heart. Being selected as Ms. Farewell was an incredible honour, and I will forever cherish the memories of dancing and enjoying with my classmates.”

On being selected as Ms. Farewell, Sukhmeet Kaur, a B.Com semester 6 student expressed “As we bid farewell to our college, we all have mixed emotions and we are going to carry with us a lot of memories, lessons and friendships that we formed during our time here. I appreciate the experiences we had at college, which have helped shape each of our unique journeys.”

Meanwhile, Umesh, a student of B. Com semester 6 commented, “Being awarded the title of Mr. Farewell is a matter of great pride for me. It was an incredible day filled with fun and unforgettable moments, and I feel honoured to have been a part of it. These memories will always stay with me.”

In the end, the students left the party with beautiful memories and promises to cherish them forever.
