The Marketing Club of Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar recently organised an enriching industrial visit to Victor Tools Pvt. Ltd., Jalandhar, a reputed name in the manufacturing of hand tools in India.
The primary aim of this initiative was to expose MBA first-semester students to real-world industrial practices, enhance their understanding of manufacturing systems, and bridge the gap between classroom learning and its practical application. Industrial visits are considered an integral part of management education, and this outing provided students with valuable experiential learning.

The students, filled with zeal and curiosity, had the opportunity to closely observe the intricate processes involved in tool manufacturing. From raw material procurement to assembly and quality checks, the tour offered them a comprehensive view of the production line. This not only helped them connect theoretical knowledge with practical realities but also deepened their appreciation of operational challenges and innovations in the manufacturing sector.
The visit was both insightful and inspiring, leaving a lasting impression on the young management aspirants. They were able to engage with industry experts, ask relevant questions, and understand how concepts such as supply chain management, production efficiency, and quality control are applied in a real-time industrial setup. For many, the experience was a motivational step toward envisioning their future careers in business and industry.
Expressing his thoughts on the initiative, Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director, AIMETC, said, “We believe that industrial visits are an integral part of our students’ learning journey. They provide the opportunity to observe and understand the practical application of the concepts studied in classrooms. By organizing such visits, we strive to provide our students with a holistic education that prepares them for the challenges and demands of the professional world.”

Dr. Bagga also applauded the efforts of the Marketing Club and other student-driven initiatives that focus on creating practical exposure beyond traditional academics. He acknowledged that such activities strengthen students’ confidence and prepare them for corporate readiness.
The students were accompanied and guided during the visit by Dr. Rajneesh Arya and Mr. Rahul Handa from the School of Management, whose presence further enriched the learning experience.
The industrial visit concluded on a high note, with students expressing gratitude to both Victor Tools Pvt. Ltd. for their hospitality and AIMETC for providing this invaluable learning opportunity. By combining classroom theories with real-world practices, the visit successfully contributed to shaping well-rounded professionals equipped for the evolving demands of the business world.
