Internships Open: Ministry of Commerce invites UG, PG students, research scholars

The Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce is inviting applications for their internship scheme from undergraduate, postgraduate and research scholars from a recognised university. The internship aims to provide students with the exposure and opportunity to understand the working culture of the Government of India.

The offer will remain open throughout the year and applications will be accepted in an online mode only. It is to be noted that 20 interns will be selected at a time. Those from the educational backgrounds such as: Engineering, Management, Law, Economics, Finance, Computers and Library Management, can apply. Students from other backgrounds may also avail but they will be considered on a case-to-case basis.

The internship will be for a minimum of one month and a maximum of three months. An amount of 10,000/- will be paid to the interns per month.
