Continuing its unwavering commitment to educational excellence, Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, Jalandhar, successfully conducted its ongoing in-service teacher training programme, Gyan Sudha. The initiative is designed to equip educators with innovative skills, modern methodologies, and advanced knowledge to meet the challenges of 21st-century learning. True to its essence, Where Teachers Evolve, Students Excel, the programme nurtures teachers as lifelong learners, who in turn inspire excellence in their students.
As part of this continuous journey, today’s segment of Gyan Sudha featured two enriching and highly engaging seminars.
The first seminar, conducted by Ms Rajbir Kaur, PGT (Computer Science), was centered on the vital theme of Cyber Safety and Security. In today’s digital era, where children are increasingly active in virtual spaces, the session equipped teachers with practical strategies to protect students from cyber threats. Ms Kaur emphasised the role of educators in not only safeguarding young learners but also in shaping them into responsible digital citizens. Her interactive session enabled teachers to reflect on real-world challenges of online engagement while discussing preventive measures to ensure a safe, secure, and positive digital learning environment.

The second seminar, led by Ms Sonia, PRT (English), focused on Environmental Science-Elementary Level. Through engaging methods and creative techniques, she shared innovative ideas to make environmental education meaningful and experiential for young learners. Ms Sonia’s session highlighted the importance of instilling environmental awareness from the foundational years. By integrating interactive activities and storytelling, she encouraged teachers to make students more mindful of sustainability, conservation, and their role in protecting the planet.
The seminars were well-received by the faculty, who actively participated, asked questions, and shared their reflections. The interactive nature of the sessions ensured that every participant left with practical takeaways for immediate implementation in classrooms.

The Principal Mr AK Sharma and Vice-principal Ms Loveleen Bagga graced the occasion, motivating teachers with their presence and insights. The Principal, in his address, applauded the dedication of the educators and reiterated the value of continuous professional development. He remarked that Gyan Sudha acts as a powerful platform for teachers to grow, innovate, and inspire. By enriching their own knowledge and skills, teachers can ultimately shape students into aware, responsible, and confident individuals — ready to thrive in a dynamic and ever-changing world.
With such impactful initiatives, Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, continues to reinforce its mission of holistic education, ensuring that teachers and students alike remain at the forefront of growth, innovation, and excellence.
