Komal Singh,  a student of Apeejay School of Management (ASM), Dwarka, made her institute proud as she co-authored a research paper in engineering proceedings (MDPI) Scopus indexed journal, which has a cite score of 0.7.

Titled Sustainable Green Manufacturing Approaches in India—A Step Towards a New Green Revolution Through SMEs, this student pursuing Post Graduate Diploma in Management worked on this paper under the guidance of her faculty mentor Assistant Professor Anuj Kumar.

The research paper has been co-authored by Prof. Anuj Kumar along with four other academicians. Komal Singh is the second student from ASM, who published a paper in Scopus Journal.

Sustainable production minimises resource use, removes toxic substances, and generates zero waste, reducing greenhouse gas emissions throughout the product and service life cycle. Most of the world’s manufacturing will be in Asia in the next 20 years, generating numerous opportunities on this continent. Sustainable manufacturing must respond to economic issues by developing wealth and new services that assure long-term development and competitiveness while minimising environmental harm and addressing social concerns. The co-authors in their research work have tried to address this problem. Sharing her thoughts, Komal expressed, “ It is a great feeling to publish a paper in Scopus journal. Anuj sir taught us the subject of research methodology, since then I was looking for a good publication. Finally, I have achieved it.”

Further, Prof Anuj Kumar highlighted, “Komal was consistently working with me on data collection for SMEs area for my ICSSR project. I saw dedication in her for research writing, so I included her in this team.”
