Meet Shivansh Goswami, a bright and cheerful Class 1 student of Apeejay School, Noida, from the Pre-primary wing, who recently received the prestigious Principal’s Award. Known for his all-round excellence in academics, discipline, and extracurricular activities, he is a young achiever with a love for art, sports, and public speaking. Here, he shares his journey, passions, and advice for fellow students.

How did you feel receiving such a prestigious award?
I felt incredibly happy and proud to receive such a prestigious award. It was a truly special moment for me, especially because I could see how proud and joyful my parents were.

What are the activities you enjoy the most?
I enjoy art and craft, especially working with vibrant primary colours. I love creating different kinds of drawings—each one lets me express my imagination and creativity in a fun and colourful way.
Who helps you with your studies?
It’s mostly my mother who helps me at home. I love going to school because I get to learn new and exciting things every day. All my teachers are very kind and supportive, which makes learning even more enjoyable for me.
Which extracurricular activity do you like to play?
I enjoy a variety of activities like football, dance, swimming, and cycling. Each one brings me joy in its own way.
On what basis were you selected?
I was selected for being an all-rounder in not just academics but also in discipline. Overall, I’ve been doing well. I’m quite active in class, especially when it comes to activities like dance and speeches. I enjoy participating and expressing myself, and I believe my oratory skills are one of my strong points.
How has your academic year been?
For the past two consecutive years, I have consistently scored above A+ in all my subjects. It feels rewarding to see my hard work pay off, and it motivates me to keep striving for excellence.
What advice would you give to your friends who also wish to receive an award like you?
One must continue being a good boy, and it’s important for one to be kind, respectful, and happy. Along with that, one should stay focused on their studies and keep doing well in school. A balance of good behaviour, happiness, and academic progress will help you grow into a well-rounded individual.
